In a cowardly fashion, on January 16, 2013 President Barack Obama surrounded himself with children, some of them who had witnessed the violent massacre of young classmates at the Sandy Hook, CT elementary school back on December 14, 2012, and brazenly took his first real shots at the Constitutional rights of Americans. His attack on the Second Amendment, which guarantees Americans the right to keep and bear arms, is now being viewed more and more by the citizens of this country as a violation of his Executive Powers.
The second of the ten amendments which make up the Bill of Rights reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Despite the arguments of some today, the right to keep and bear arms as provided by the U.S. Constitution has absolutely nothing to do with hunting or recreational shooting. The intent of this country's founding fathers was to insure the citizens of the United States the right to protect themselves from enemies - foreign or domestic. The President and proponents for stricter gun control laws have been calling for major infringements on that Constitutional guarantee, in the form of government control on the type of firearms citizens are allowed to own. More than one elected official, including the President himself, has recently raised the question, "Who needs an AR style assault rifle for hunting?"
The answer to that one is easy, probably no one. But, the Second Amendment to the Constitution does not guarantee the right to hunt, or for that matter to go out and shoot a round of skeet, or to punch holes in a paper target. This amendment simply assures that American citizens can defend the Second Amendment and all the other amendments of the Constitution, and all the rights those amendments insure, from all who would destroy the foundation of this country - whether they are foreign invaders, criminals and gangs within the country, or especially a tyrannical agenda driven government.
The large number of firearm owning citizens in this country has likely done more to thwart an outright attack by a foreign armed force than many may realize. During the early 1940s, approximately 60-percent of American homes had at least one firearm. That single statistic, and the fact that almost every rural resident knew how to use a gun, likely kept Japan from making any real attack on the U.S. mainland during WWII. So, how well armed are Americans today? One small arms survey conducted in 2007 determined that there were approximately 89 firearms per 100 residents in the U.S., making this country No. 1 in private gun ownership. That's not to say that nearly 89-percent of all Americans own a rifle, handgun or shotgun. Many gun owners, and especially arms collectors, own a dozen or more.
In the state of Michigan alone there are more than 700,000 firearm deer hunters, while Texas harbors close to 900,000. Pennsylvania is also home to about 900,000 firearm owning deer hunters, and in Wisconsin some 600,000 gun toting deer hunters head for the woods every fall. In each of Missouri, Minnesota and New York, approximately 500,000 hunters also head for the woods come deer season. Just the deer hunters in these seven states make up the largest civilian army in the world. That is a formidable force for any threatening foreign enemy to contend with, a force that insures that our borders are literally well armed.
Another 2010 survey established that 40- to 45-percent of all households in the U.S. have at least one gun - that equates to 70- to 80-million individual firearm owners. That survey also revealed another interesting fact, that approximately 41-percent of all Republicans owned a gun, while just 23-percent of all Democrats were gun owners. The No. 1 reason given for owning a firearm was protection. Target shooting ranked second and hunting came in third.
But, protection from what?
Founding father Thomas Jefferson once stated, "The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first."
Around the world, political turmoil has led to outright revolutions in recent times. America is also suffering from the same strife, and for a growing percentage of U.S. citizens there's now a feeling that an out of control government is destroying this country from within. At stake is the loss of the American lifestyle, and the loss of many of the freedoms guaranteed to us by the U.S. Constitution.
For many residents of this country the realization is sinking in that the problem starts right at the top, with the President of the United States. The fact is, two to three years before his first election to that office in 2008, less than 1-percent of all Americans had ever heard of Barack Hussein Obama, or of him by his real name Barry Sotero. So, how did this unknown nobody slip right into the top political office of this country?
Ever hear of George Soros? That's him in the above photo. He's the American hating Hungarian billionaire who is one of the leading proponents of the United Nations' drive to become the one and only World Government. Soros is also a strong supporter of the U.N.'s Agenda 21. As much as it may smack of "conspiracy theory" to those who have failed to research the plans that the U.N. has for this old Earth, the goal of that "World Power" is to literally reduce human life on this planet - by as much as 80-percent. Much of the globe would then be returned to large humanless expanses of wilderness, with wild corridors connecting those core areas. George Soros believes in this agenda so much that he has invested upwards of $400-million annually with radical environmental groups who fight for the drastic reduction of humankind, and a return to a more primitive and wild planet.
The North American Agenda 21 efforts are better known as the Wildlands Network and as the Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative. To create these huge wilderness tracts calls for forcing Americans off the land and into cities established as safe zones - and standing in the way of that happening just happens to be those 70- to 80-million private gun owners.
Back in 2004, Soros invested $24-million dollars in an effort to prevent George W. Bush from being re-elected. He failed to do so, and switched to a brand new plan - to get Barrack Obama elected. Now, America is under the leadership of a U.N. implant.
The first political office that Obama sought was an Illinois seat in the U.S. Senate, and Soros threw a major campaign fund raiser for him at his lavish Southampton beach house on New York's Long Island. The investment that Soros and others made in Barry Sotero, a.k.a. Barrack Obama, paid off - and the junior Senator went off to Washington D.C. - for just 143 days before announcing his run for the office of the President of the United States. George Soros once again stepped up to the plate to become a major political Sugar Daddy.
Perhaps money can't buy everything, but it can sure influence almost anything. Standing in the way of Soros' Agenda 21 pipedream are all of us well armed Americans, and now he has his puppet Barack dancing to the tune of stricter gun control. When the agenda of a power crazed organization is to reduce the human population of this planet by as much as 80-percent, what makes anyone think that there is any real remorse by the U.N. or its supporters for the loss of human life? Could it be that a mass shooting at a political rally...or at the premier showing of a hot new movie...or in a room filled with young school children...just might all be a price that the United Nations and supporters of Agenda 21 are willing to accept to achieve their goals - especially when the right investments in propaganda can shift the blame on guns, gun makers and on American shooters and sportsmen?
Remember back to the day that the shooting occurred at the Sandy Hook Elementary school. For the first several hours that our national news covered that horrible morning, the head of and spokesmen for the Connecticut State Police went over again and again how the shooter, Adam Lanza, had forced his way into the school, armed with two 9mm semi-auto pistols, and opened fire. The non-stop televised reports also claimed that a Bushmaster .223 semi-auto "assault" rifle was then found in the trunk of the shooter's car. By early afternoon, the media and law enforcement officers on the scene had turned it all around - suddenly it was the Bushmaster rifle used in the killing of 20 children and 6 adults.
Which time was the head of the Connecticut State Police lying?
Obama's push for far stricter gun control, and his threat of issuing an executive order to circumvent legislation having to go before Congress, was met with fierce resistance. Gun owners and sportsmen voiced their opinions loudly on social medias like Facebook. The new battle cry became the words of the late Charlton Heston, "From My Cold Dead Hands!" If our President and his sidekick Joe Biden think they are going to infringe on the rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment of the Constitution, they had better be prepared for battle. America's gun owners will rise in force. They've already started. Almost as soon as the word was out that Obama would use executive powers to stop production of rifles like the Bushmaster AR, membership in the National Rifle Association grew by 250,000 within just a few days - and tons of rifles and ammunition left firearm retail shops all across the U.S. People who had never owned a firearm in their life suddenly had one and lots of ammo horded away. The greatest sales were of AR style semi-auto rifles.
An ever growing list of county sheriffs across the country are now standing in opposition of any Presidential violation of the Second Amendment. These top elected law enforcement officials say they will not enforce any new federal firearm laws which infringe upon a citizen's right to keep and bear arms.
Representative Steve Stockman, of Texas, stated, "I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment."
After Stockman learned of the Democrats strategy to dismantle the Second Amendment, he proclaimed, "The President`s actions are an existential threat to this nation. The right of the people to keep and bear arms is what has kept this nation free and secure for over 200 years. The very purpose of the Second Amendment is to stop the government from disallowing people the means to defend themselves against tyranny. Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible."
Within the shooting and hunting industry itself, there is now a movement to address traitors who also threaten the right to keep and bear arms. One of the largest outdoor sports shows in the country has been the Eastern Sport and Outdoor Show, held in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The show has been organized by Reed Exhibitions, and for the February 2-10, 2013 show some 1,200 exhibitors were scheduled to exhibit. Due to the exhibition company's ban on displaying AR and similar style rifles, and large capacity magazines, more than 200 exhibitors pulled out of the show, including the NRA, the National Wild Turkey Federation, and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. The boycott was in support of the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
"RMEF believes the actions taken by Reed, a British company, are detrimental to the Second Amendment and our right as Americans to bear arms," read a statement issued by RMEF.
Many of the hunting and outdoor celebrities scheduled to be on hand or to present shooting and hunting seminars pulled out of the show as well. One of them was Larry Weishuhn, the host of "A Hunter's Life" on the Sportsman Channel, who boycotted the show in support of private gun ownership in this country.
Larry stated, "I do not own or use any of the 'guns in question', but strongly support those who do! I would ask each and everyone who loves the United States of America and our American outdoor way of life to pray for our beloved country. GOD BLESS AMERICA!"
Many who have been following and fighting the so-called "Rewilding of the West" have linked the federally forced introduction of non-native Canadian wolves, excessive numbers of grizzly bears, and the overly protected glut of other major predators now destroying the big game populations of the West to the radical agendas of environmental groups such as the Defenders of Wildlife, the Sierra Club, and the Center for Biological Diversity. And some say it's way too easy to link Obama's attempted "Gun Grab" to the U.N's Agenda 21. Unarming America would make it far easier for the forced removal of rural residents from areas slated to become future wilderness areas or travel corridors for those major predators...which would replace the human hunter's role of keeping game populations in balance with available habitat and forage.
Uncertain times lay ahead for this country, and the last thing true Americans are willing to give up is their right to protect what is theirs, and what is guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America. - Toby Bridges, UN-America
